How I Made $1,250 On Something That Didn’t Exist
The Music Educator In Me
A few weeks ago, a girl DM’d me on my VA for a day Instagram. She said, “I’d love to know more about the behind the scenes of your business, I’ve been a virtual assistant for over a year and don’t have nearly has many clients as you. Would you ever consider starting a mentorship program?”
So I thought, What the hell, I’ll tell her I have a program and if she goes for it, I’ll do it. And if she doesn’t, no worries because, well… It doesn’t exist! And you know what she said?
“Great, sign me up!”
Then I got to work.

In this interview, I discuss what it's like to be a music educator following a non-traditional path, and how I still keep music in my life post-grad.

Although that’s tempting, as a podcasting expert this is one of the most common mistakes I see new podcasters make: forgetting to promote their new show.
My Biggest Insecurity
“How was your day?”
“Good. How was yours?”
“Well, I woke up, did yoga, and then had breakfast—an omelet with mushrooms, cheese, and spinach. Then, I showered, got dressed, and started working on that project I was telling you about until my mom called…”
Can anyone relate?!
