Hi, I’m Kristi!

I’m a lifestyle blogger and multi-faceted entrepreneur.

A New Jersey native, I graduated in May of 2018 with a Music Education degree from James Madison University in Virginia. Just a few short weeks after graduation, my boyfriend Addison and I picked up our entire lives and moved to Nashville, TN, where we reside in a 923 sq ft rented cottage and are making ends meet as full-time freelancers.

For me, I am a musician at heart, a teacher by training, and a businesswoman on accident. I love a good book and a steaming hot cappuccino, I’m a total classical music nerd, and I’m obsessed with all things planning and organization. Let me tell you a little bit about me, and maybe you’ll like it and we can be friends!

I first got my start as an entrepreneur when I started my company Got Strings in college. We provide string ensembles for weddings and special events in the Shenandoah Valley. Despite moving to TN, I am still the CEO and Client Coordinator for Got Strings, and the college musicians still perform in Virginia.

After I discovered my love of being my own boss, it was only a matter of time before I started selling physical products as well. In February of 2017, I became a distributor for SeneGence International, a network marketing company that specializes in long-lasting and anti-aging beauty products. Today I am a field leader for the company and am working toward my Makeup Artist Certification!

Finally, after I moved to Tennessee I discovered my passion for taking all that I have learned in my entrepreneurial journey and using that knowledge to help others. Combine that with my exceptional and finely-honed organizational skills and that’s how VA for a day was born, my project-based virtual assistant business for creative small business owners. I found a surprising amount of success with it, and then, of course, it was only logical for me to start teaching other virtual assistants how to start their businesses with mentorship and a self-paced course.

Then after a few months of being in Tennessee, Addison and I started another business together, A&K Podcast Services. We do everything for new podcasters in house—-free consultation, write your intro and outro music, produce, edit, publish your podcast, write show notes, even provide an audiogram for your Instagram story! But of course, for those who want to DIY, we also have a self-paced course, How To Launch a Podcast In 30 Days that has been wildly successful since it’s launch.

As you can see, I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m a multi-faceted entrepreneur. Between running my three businesses and playing violin for gigs in Nashville, I am certainly a busy gal, and that’s not even all! In June of 2018 I started my podcast and blog, which you happen to have stumbled upon! Coffee with Kristi is the blog and podcast to empower 20something girls to design a life they love. And it’s kind of my favorite thing ever.

And so, I welcome you to my little corner of the internet, where I share my thoughts on the world, give relationship advice, practical tips and tricks, and so much more. Now that you’ve gotten to know me, I hope I’ll get learn about you too in the 20something squad, and on Instagram. Thank you, friend, for reading and I hope to connect with you super soon!
