Let’s Hear It For The Ladies!

Did you know 70% of new businesses are being started by women!?

I don’t know about you, but when I hear that I can’t think of anything but HELL.YEA.

This stat tells us a few things:

1. Women are feeling more empowered to make their own money and be in charge of their future

In my opinion, one of the best characteristics that females possess is understanding the importance of community. The phrase, “it takes a village”, can be applied to a lot more than just raising kids.

Technology has opened up many doors for ladies to grow and expand their community. The opportunities are endless when it comes to making money, but many of us wouldn’t be where we are today without our community of personal cheerleaders.

>>Having a virtual hug or a pat on the back from my online village keeps my flame ignited and inspires me to persevere as an entrepreneur.<<

Women empower women. We lift each other up. And when we feel supported, we are fearless.

2. Traditional gender roles are being flipped upside down in many American households

This ain’t your grandma’s twentieth century anymore. Welcome to 2019, where gender norms are a thing of the past! “Traditional” is becoming a mediocre term when it comes to the lifestyle of women.

Females are stepping up and chasing their dreams. Stereotypes are getting kicked to the curb. In fact, more women remain in the workforce after having children than ever before!

>>Simply put, women can do whatever the hell we wanna do! Can I get an AMEN?<<

3. There are more opportunities for women to start businesses now than ever before

There are SO MANY ways to start a business now! Twenty years ago, if you wanted to be an entrepreneur, your only option was to get a $100,000 business loan, renting a brick-and-mortar space, buying a shit ton of supplies, and MAYBE (just maybe) making that investment back in 3-5 years.

But today!? Omg, it’s so much easier!

For example, let’s say you wanted to start a virtual assistant business and be a

  • Social Media Manager

  • General Admin Assistant

  • Project Manager

  • Copywriter

  • Bookkeeper

Or a whole slew of other stuff that could help a business owner. You know what you’d do?

  1. Get a laptop (ya probs already have one)

  2. Open a separate bank account

  3. Start working

That’s right: no huge investment, very low risk, and VERY high return. It’s fucking awesome!

Drop a HELL YEA in the comments if you’re proud to be a woman today!! And if you have questions about starting your own biz? Hit me up, boo. I know just how to help ya.
